About
A shelf, not a stage.
GALHARCHIVE is a personal digital archive — a place to keep writing permanently, rather than publish it temporarily. It isn't a blog, a CMS, or a platform built for an audience. It's closer to a private library: a set of shelves, organized by form, that exist to still be here later.
What this is
Every writing kept here — poetry, pantun, short stories, reflections, and essays — lives as a plain markdown file. There is no database behind it and no login in front of it. Adding a new file to the archive is the entire publishing process.
Why it's built this way
Permanence changes how you write. Without a feed to perform for, there's less pressure to chase attention and more room to write something worth returning to. The design follows the same principle: quiet typography, generous whitespace, and nothing that asks for your attention it hasn't earned.
